Will Obama Use Florida Law to Push Defeated Agenda?

Editor’s Note – As if our readers need another reason to not vote for Crist or Meek, this story outlines the potential impact a victory by either one could have on national policy.

Of course, with George LeMieux wandering off the reservation here of late, the scenerio spelled out may be of use even with a Rubio win.

Speaking of moot points, if you were to put any stock in the polls, this race now belongs to Marco Rubio – if he can keep his nose clean for the next 38 days.

Election Results; Great Scott, He Did It!

Election Results; Great Scott, He Did It!

He did it! Rick Scott has pulled off the upset of our time by edging out Attorney General Bill McCollum 46% – 43% for the Republican nominee for Florida Governor. In a very bitter race that was the most expensive in Florida history, Scott’s narrow victory now sets the stage to see just how enthusiastic the RPOF supports his run in November.

Many feel that McCollum did himself more harm than good by engaging in such a negative manner in the ad war between the two.

Florida Senate: Rubio (R) 38%, Crist (I) 33%, Meek (D) 21%

Editor’s Note – Is the world beginning to right itself?

Sanity certainly seems to be making a comeback as we see Crist begin to sink in the polls.

That loud noise coming from South Florida is a big sigh of relief from the Marco Rubio Campaign!

Babs and I attended the Laura Ingraham book signing event today at the Plaza Theater in Orlando, had a book signed – yes, she addressed it to TomT – and also got the chance to speak briefly with Ms. Ingraham, who is a very real, down to earth person. She’s very passionate about what is happening in America and just as passionate in her support of Marco Rubio.

We conservatives are very fortunate that we have individuals such as her out there with the courage to continue speaking out on the issues and taking the fire for doing so!

Obama Allies Boosting Crist in Florida

Obama Allies Boosting Crist in Florida

Editor’s Note – Crist should have eliminated all the suspense and just registered as a Democrat.

This has certainly got to be discerning news for Kendrick Meek.

As for Marco Rubio, he was strong as a front runner, how does he respond now that Crist has managed to catch him in the polls? So far, it appears that he’s still searching for that answer.

Editor’s Note – It’s Rubio by a nose, and there’s 47 days to go!
Ultimately, the outcome of this race is a referendum on the people of Florida.
Can a political huckster, and Crist is just that if there ever was one, get the majority of the vote?

Ah, June…less than 90 days away from the August primary.
Which means the sweltering heat is here to stay, and, we are now entering ‘mud-slinging’ season.  Unfortunately, the candidate with the best PR firm is typically the candidate most likely to have success.  Buyer beware!
Speaking of mud-slinging, and this extends beyond politics, are [...]

Editor’s Note – And you were worried that Crist would split the conservative vote!
It appears that the Democrat party is beginning to abandon scandal marred Kendrick Meek, and are cozing up to good ol’ Charlie, who’s starting to make RINO’s look like solid, staunch conservatives.  It’s a wonder that Crist didn’t just avoid the suspense and register [...]

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

By KrisAnne Hall

Our founders deliberately did not establish a democracy, because in that form of government, the majority would always choke to death the desire for Liberty of a minority. Yet another point that Mrs. Ginsberg might be wise to share with Egypt instead of encouraging them to strive “to achieve a general democracy…”

The dichotomy of her praise and criticism of our founders and our Constitution shows that she is greatly misinformed of both…

Decision 2012, What Does It All Mean?

By Allen Wilson

Good bye Presidential hoopla we’ll see you in August.

But for now, let’s turn our thoughts to more pressing problems for Florida and the nation. Fasten your seat belts folks; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This won’t be a Tea Party vs the Establishment event, that’s just so 2010. No, this is a showcase for Agenders, Fair Taxers, Occupiers (well they don’t really vote do they”), and GOOOH’ers…

Tired Of Political Elitists Picking Our Candidates?

By Rick Steeby

I am not a fan of this two-party system where your personal beliefs have to be compromised to one party platform or the other based on the lesser of two evils.

I am reminded of my own words of how Congress has become entrenched and regardless of party they are more concerned with the power and the prestige of office then in service to their country.

Romney Wins, What’s Next?

By Tom Tillison

So after three years of toil by thousands of average everyday citizens who’ve sacrificed far more than they ever cared to, Florida supports John McCain yet again, just in a prettier package.

And just as in 2008, Florida will be the impetus that thrusts this better wrapped version identified as Mitt Romney one step closer to an eventual match up with Barack Obama.

There will be plenty of coverage breaking down the final numbers…

Clouds On A Sunny Day

By Allen Wilson

I remember the instant that the mood changed.

As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
