Unemployment Numbers, Propaganda At It’s Best

By Mark Thompson

If you use more recent participation rate the unemployment rate INCREASED to 11.5%. This corresponds with all the data not a DROP from 8.5% to 8.3%.

Either way you calculate it the federal government has decided they do not want Mitt Romney cutting their budgets and the propaganda war is on. Look for this bogus data to continue through election day.

M2 (Money Stock) Velocity At Historic Low

By Mark Thompson

The M2 velocity is at the lowest it has been since records have been available dating back to 1959.

Translated there is a whole lot of money in the system sitting idle, doing nothing. Obama is the all time king of killing a nations appetite for spending. The ultimate buzz kill in the history of mankind.

Obama Campaign Ad Claims Job Growth

By Mark Thompson

This is not the genuine jobs picture. This is just one tiny slice of the jobs picture.

The total employment level since Obama has entered office has increased from 140,436,000 to 140,681,000, or a total of 245,000 jobs, or a 0.17% increase, or an annual rate increase of 0.05%, well below the population growth rate.

Heritage; Obama’s State Of Omission

The Heritage Foundation

Speaking last night from the U.S. Capitol, President Barack Obama described the state of the Union as he sees it — strong and getting stronger, with future growth fueled by his pursuit of progressive policies and an expansion of government, all architected to bring about his brand of “fairness.”

The President essentially redelivered his 2011 State of the Union address — complete with the same empty rhetoric, class warfare cloaked in “fairness,” and proposals for massive tax and spending increases.

Warren Buffett Biggest Winner From Keystone Pipeline Rejection

By Mark Thompson

Just when one thinks American crony capitalism couldn’t hit new lows, here comes Warren Buffett and his personal puppet, the president, proving everyone wrong once more.

Because if one thinks there is no (s)quid pro quo for all that “sage” advice that Buffett has been giving to Obama on extracting as much wealth as possible from future…

U.S. Rep. Sandy Adams: 1,000 Days Later, No Budget From Senate

By Rep. Sandy Adams

Could you imagine not doing a family budget for 1,000 days, or businesses going that long without one?

As irresponsible as that might seem, today marks 1,000 days since the U.S. Senate has passed a budget. The last time it passed a budget, you had never heard of the iPad. The U.S. was still able to put astronauts into outer space. And the national debt was $4 trillion smaller than it is today.

State Of The Union

State Of The Union

By Matthew Falconer

As Barack Obama prepares for another speech we the people already know the state of our union. We know it from talking with our friends and neighbors about their struggles to find work and keep their businesses alive. Florida taxpayers are in a “survival mode” and have been since the day Obama took office.

Clearly not all of this is Obama’s fault…

By Tom Tillison

Herman Cain, who was in Central Florida this past week in support of U.S. Senate candidate Craig Miller, will deliver the tea party rebuttal to President Obama’s State of the Union address next week.

Cain, former frontrunner in the GOP presidential primary, will have a chance to “square off with the failed politics of the Obama administration,” Tea Party Express said in a statement announcing the Tuesday speech.

An Internet Blackout Over SOPA And PIPA

The Heritage Foundation

As of midnight, Wikipedia is shut down for 24 hours, and hundreds of other popular websites have gone dark right along with it.

They are standing together in protest of two controversial pieces of legislation that threaten Internet security and undermine the freedom of speech all in an effort to crack down on online “piracy” — the illegal distribution of copyrighted material.

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

By KrisAnne Hall

Our founders deliberately did not establish a democracy, because in that form of government, the majority would always choke to death the desire for Liberty of a minority. Yet another point that Mrs. Ginsberg might be wise to share with Egypt instead of encouraging them to strive “to achieve a general democracy…”

The dichotomy of her praise and criticism of our founders and our Constitution shows that she is greatly misinformed of both…

Decision 2012, What Does It All Mean?

By Allen Wilson

Good bye Presidential hoopla we’ll see you in August.

But for now, let’s turn our thoughts to more pressing problems for Florida and the nation. Fasten your seat belts folks; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This won’t be a Tea Party vs the Establishment event, that’s just so 2010. No, this is a showcase for Agenders, Fair Taxers, Occupiers (well they don’t really vote do they”), and GOOOH’ers…

Tired Of Political Elitists Picking Our Candidates?

By Rick Steeby

I am not a fan of this two-party system where your personal beliefs have to be compromised to one party platform or the other based on the lesser of two evils.

I am reminded of my own words of how Congress has become entrenched and regardless of party they are more concerned with the power and the prestige of office then in service to their country.

Romney Wins, What’s Next?

By Tom Tillison

So after three years of toil by thousands of average everyday citizens who’ve sacrificed far more than they ever cared to, Florida supports John McCain yet again, just in a prettier package.

And just as in 2008, Florida will be the impetus that thrusts this better wrapped version identified as Mitt Romney one step closer to an eventual match up with Barack Obama.

There will be plenty of coverage breaking down the final numbers…

Clouds On A Sunny Day

By Allen Wilson

I remember the instant that the mood changed.

As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
