Washington Needs A Lesson On Student Loans

The Heritage Foundation

You know a politician is looking for applause when he speaks in front of a crowd of college students and says he’s there to help them pay back their student loans.

After all, who doesn’t like the prospect of free money? But as the saying (sort of) goes, beware of politicians bearing gifts. That’s especially true this week as President Barack Obama travels the country warning students…

On the O’Reilly Factor last night, host Bill O’Reilly pointed out that almost 150 million Americans are receiving some form of government assistance.

150,000,000.

The Bloated Government Of America

The General Services Administration blew through $820,000 in taxpayers’ money in a lavish “team building” trip to Las Vegas, and President Barack Obama is “apoplectic” at the news, according to the president’s campaign advisor, David Axelrod.

Obama, he says, has devoted his efforts to saving “tens of billions of dollars” in cutting waste, fraud and inefficiency in government. Yet under President Obama’s leadership, government spending keeps growing irresponsibly…

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
