And just as in 2008, Florida will be the impetus that thrusts this better wrapped version identified as Mitt Romney one step closer to an eventual match up with Barack Obama.

There will be plenty of coverage breaking down the final numbers…

Romney vs. Newt; The Future Of The Tea Party And Rightward Shift Of GOP At Stake

By Tom Tillison

It is only fitting that the mudslinging now coming out of the Mitt Romney camp is occurring here in Florida. When it comes to dirty politics, the Sunshine State stands in a class all it’s own.

Yet, desperate times call for desperate measures and fortunately for Romney, his chief campaign strategist and several of his most senior campaign staff were Charlie Crist’s top political advisers who are ever so familiar with the political turf here in Florida.

A Quick Review Of Last Night’s Presidential Debate

By Tom Tillison

For those who did not tune in to last night’s GOP Presidential Primary Debate, you didn’t miss very much.

Heard repeatedly on various social media sites was that this debate, a product of NBC, was the worst yet – which is saying a lot when you consider there have now been 18 debates.

The latest offering started out as the Gingrich/Romney show, with the two going at it for the first 10 minutes or so…

Santorum’s Chances In Florida

By Chuck Winn

Santorum has at least an outside chance of winning Florida on the 31st. Although heavily outspent, he won Iowa, tied Newt in New Hampshire and polled a respectable 17% in South Carolina.

Because of the obviously pivotal role that state played in stopping Romney’s momentum, voters who were leaning towards Santorum may well have voted for Newt because they didn’t want to…

Newt’s Win In South Carolina Has Romney On His Heels

By Tom Tillison

Newt Gingrich has just made a race of the GOP presidential primary. With last night’s resounding victory in South Carolina, Newt has served notice that conservatives do indeed have an option to the ‘chosen one’, Mitt Romney.

And now it’s on to Florida where Romney is supposedly leading by double digits once again…

Florida Conservatives Need To Stand Pat On Their Favorite GOP Presidential Candidates

By Chuck Winn

Having several conservative candidates on the ballot going into Florida’s primary will not “split the opposition” and make a Romney nomination inevitable.

Florida’s block of 50 delegates comprise about 4.5% of the total of the 1150 needed for the Republican Presidential nomination. Therefore, Sunshine State conservatives must stand firmly behind their respective Presidential candidates…

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

By KrisAnne Hall

Our founders deliberately did not establish a democracy, because in that form of government, the majority would always choke to death the desire for Liberty of a minority. Yet another point that Mrs. Ginsberg might be wise to share with Egypt instead of encouraging them to strive “to achieve a general democracy…”

The dichotomy of her praise and criticism of our founders and our Constitution shows that she is greatly misinformed of both…

Decision 2012, What Does It All Mean?

By Allen Wilson

Good bye Presidential hoopla we’ll see you in August.

But for now, let’s turn our thoughts to more pressing problems for Florida and the nation. Fasten your seat belts folks; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This won’t be a Tea Party vs the Establishment event, that’s just so 2010. No, this is a showcase for Agenders, Fair Taxers, Occupiers (well they don’t really vote do they”), and GOOOH’ers…

Tired Of Political Elitists Picking Our Candidates?

By Rick Steeby

I am not a fan of this two-party system where your personal beliefs have to be compromised to one party platform or the other based on the lesser of two evils.

I am reminded of my own words of how Congress has become entrenched and regardless of party they are more concerned with the power and the prestige of office then in service to their country.

Clouds On A Sunny Day

By Allen Wilson

I remember the instant that the mood changed.

As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
