GOP In Lead In Final Lap

Editor’s Note – With most polls delivering promising news, it seems the only thing that can stand in the way of a significant victory on November 2nd is over-confidence giving some conservatives a reason to stay home.

Make no mistake about it, Obama and the Democrats are working extremely hard to motivate the base and get these misguided folks out to the polls. At the end of the day, it’s all about voter turnout. If the left wins that battle, they’ll retain a fair number of seats.

Get out and vote! And get your friends and family to the polls, there’s simply too much at stake to sit this one out!

Poll: Barack Obama a Drag for Florida Dems

Poll: Barack Obama a Drag for Florida Dems

Obama’s negative image was cited in an earlier Sunshine State News Poll, which showed his disapproval rating at 51 percent in Central Florida’s 8th Congressional District.

In that swing district, the poll showed Republican Dan Webster leading first-termer Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando, 43-36, with another 9 points going to conservative TEA and NPA candidates.

“CD 8 is a bellwether district. It really shows there’s a shift back to the GOP,” Lee said.

Spooky Dude George Soros: I Can’t Stop a Republican ‘Avalanche’

Editor’s Note – Just how bad is it for Democrats? If ’spooky dude’ is shutting off the money spigot, it’s got to be bad!

Although, conservatives have little reason to celebrate, as Soro’s is still quietly funding a multitude of far left groups seeking to ‘fundamentally transform America’.

I say quietly because the complicit media simply will not report on it, unlike all the recent attention focused on the Koch brothers and Americans for Prosperity.

Video; One ‘Socialist’ Nation Rally – 10/02

The ‘One Nation’ Rally, a response to Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor Rally’, was held at our nation’s Capital yesterday. As detailed in the first video below, it seems yesterday’s event should have been titled the ‘One Socialist Nation Rally’.

Why is it that Liberal Democrats are so accepting of socialists and communists, do these values reflect what most Democrats stand for? Or, does the militant nature of these groups give rank and file Democrats little choice in the matter?

More importantly, does Saturday’s ‘One Nation Rally’ reflect the nation you know? And, just how prevailant are the Socialists, Marxists and Communists in America? Questions that may be of more importance than you realize…

Florida Case Puts Focus on Issue of Absentee Ballot Fraud

Florida Case Puts Focus on Issue of Absentee Ballot Fraud

Editor’s Note – This article follows the story posted earlier this week of rampant voter registration fraud in Houston.

Many American’s believe there is a significant problem with the integrity of the overall election process in this country. Even though the media glazed over it, conservatives have not forgotten the claims of improper overseas donations to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, we’ve all seen the clips where inner-city folks bragged about voting multiple times and then there’s the fiasco in Minnesota that resulted in the seating of Senator Stuart Smalley.

For Second Straight Month, Number of Democrats in U.S. Falls to Record Low

For Second Straight Month, Number of Democrats in U.S. Falls to Record Low

Editor’s Note – This poll is really not all that surprising. When you look at the current crop of Progressives that control the Democratic Party, it’s clear that this is no longer the party of John F. Kennedy.

With an agenda that favors wealth distribution, economic justice, whatever that is, and counts among it’s allies Socialists, Marxists and revolutionaries, it’s becoming harder and harder for liberal thinking Americans to identify with the party.

Add in the unscrupulous manner in which Obama, Pelosi and Reid force legislation through and the double standard in play with individual members (Geithner, Rangel and Maxine Waters immediately come to mind) and it’s not hard to see why people are exiting.

Poll: Obama, Dems Poised to Lose Grayson House Seat

Poll: Obama, Dems Poised to Lose Grayson House Seat

Editor’s Note – After seeing the poll results generated by Sunshine State News, we now understand why Alan Grayson has gotten so desperate in his television ads.

We were told that his actions show he’s behind in the polls, however, until now, we have not seen poll results that support this position.

Whereas, the results are encouraging, the end result is by no means a certainty. This is no time to relax in the ongoing efforts to replace Grayson.

In fact, it’s time to double down on these efforts and put this man out of our misery once and for all!

Obama; Buck Up, While Buck Down

Obama; Buck Up, While Buck Down

Not to be outdone, V.P. Joe Biden, parroting the company line, had this to say on MSNBC, “And so those who don’t get — didn’t get everything they wanted, it’s time to just buck up here, understand that we can make things better, continue to move forward and — but not yield the playing field to those folks who are against everything that we stand for in terms of the initiatives we put forward.”

Ironically, while Obama rolls out his ‘Buck Up’ campaign, the real buck, the U.S. dollar, is down, trading at almost a five- month low against the euro due to home prices rising at a slower pace in July, fueling speculation the Federal Reserve will ease monetary policy.

Florida Marine Corps League Denounces Alan Grayson’s Use Of Photos

Congressman Grayson, a word to the wise, it’s not a smart move to upset the Corps!

A strongly worded letter (see below) was sent to Congressman Alan Grayson from the Florida Marine Corps League Commandant Bill Backes denouncing Grayson’s use of photos of uniformed North Lake Marines in campaign ads and calls for the removal of these photos. Backes stated that these actions were “inexcusable and despicable”.

Ohio Dem Chair Drops F-Bomb (On Tea Party)

Ohio Dem Chair Drops F-Bomb (On Tea Party)

Editor’s Note – Imagine for just a minute that Florida Republican Chairman John Thrasher drops an f-bomb while describing Organizing for America or MoveOn.org. You can almost hear the media explosion. It would be the leading story on the national news networks, the leading headline in the major papers and cable news would lose it’s mind.

There’d probably be protests in the streets, coupled with demands for his resignation. Wouldn’t be surprised if ol’ Obama himself weighed into the matter with some inane comment about Thrasher acting “stupidly”.

Now, back to reality – The Ohio Democrat Chairman drops the f-bomb while describing those who make up the tea party movement and the response?

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

By Kim Carroll

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

The Interest Bomb Is Ticking

By: George Noga

This post kicks off a three-part series about the crisis of spending, debt and deficits.

The next part deals with the interval between now and the inevitable arrival of the Minsky Moment, i.e. the unknown and unknowable time when an unsustainable economic phenomenon suddenly collapses.

The third post will address Gotterdammerung, or what happens after the Minsky Moment.

Is Mack Campaign Getting Desperate?

By Tom Tillison

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.

As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

By L. Persona

Florida Democrats believe they can win a few Republican seats in Congress and are preparing a major offensive against several Republicans facing tough challenges this year. They believe that redistricting gives them a chance to offset the seats they are sure to give up.

However, the Democrats still fail to realize the albatross that ObamaCare places on their party’s efforts…

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
