Community Meetings to Encourage Discussions about Spending in Washington
(Winter Garden, FL) – Congressman Daniel Webster will continue the Stop the Spigot of Spending Tour across Central Florida. “SOS” for short, the Spigot of Spending Tour kicked off in February, facilitating an open community discussion about ways to transform spending in Washington.
Editor’s Note – The spending cuts proposed by the Republican majority will equal $60 Billion. Not nearly as steep as what’s needed to truly impact the budget deficit and well short of a $100 Billion goal set by many, including FL-CD8 Congressman Daniel Webster.
Interesting how the headline below spins the vote as being a “Republican” endeavor when 17 Democrats also supported it, yet, as we’ve seen in the past, if a single Republican votes in concert with Democrats, the media runs all day with the term ‘bipartisan support’.

Seems a litle quiet around here, huh?
The Orlando Political Press crew is in Washington, DC for the congressional inauguration today, at the invite of Congressman-elect Dan Webster.
Public Policy Polling includes a few interesting names, but leaves out another – Dan Webster. Rumor has it that he may have an interest in this race, particularly when you take into account the redrawing of districts, which is expected to swing D8 heavily in favor of the enemy..the Progressives….the Democrat Party.
Not wanting to ruin anyone’s Christmas, but…based on redistricting and Obama being on the ballot in 2012, we may not have heard the last of Alan Dis-Grayson!
Yet another refreshing change of pace – congressmen who not only talk the talk, but actually walk the walk.
And, an early sign that the residents of Central Florida chose well in selecting Sandy Adams and Dan Webster to represent them.
With many difficult decisions awaiting both, let’s hope that this is, to borrow from the line in the movie Casablanca, ” the beginning of a beautiful friendship”.

West Orlando Tea Party
We only ask that Daniel Webster fight for American values and we will ask for nothing more.
If Daniel Webster can go to Washington and lobby for ‘we the people’, he has the support of all of us and we are behind him. I hope Congressman Webster reaches out to us in the tea party to preserve what we all fight so hard for……our kids and the Dream. I believe he will.
Update – This story is receiving no follow up at all by the local media, however, the mail service used to send this illegal mailer out, Action Mail Services, has been used in the past by Rep. Alan Grayson.

Understandably, this fact alone does not indicate guilt, however, it certainly should warrant a follow up by the FEC. After all, this is a sitting U.S. Congressman who very well may have intentionally broken the law! Or, is the impression many folks have that elected officials are above the law correct?

Alan Grayson is not alone in his trickery. Enter the Florida TEA Party and their cronies. Using the tea party momentum and grabbing the name TEA party, Fred O’Neal and Doug Guetzloe decided to try and force candidates on the electorate.
Having no support from the tea party movement, they just decided to pick anyone who’d run for office and put them on the ballot. Whether it was a co-worker, roommate, son, or any other breathing human being, they enlisted them to run for office. Whether qualified to run for office or not, they could care less.
Editor’s Note – For a Congressman who is touted by the far left as the quintessential Democrat, Alan Grayson sure does shoot his mouth off a lot with little knowledgeable information to back it up.
It is indeed interesting how so many American’s are quick to bestow labels of grandeur upon some in our society, particularly our politicians. In reality, this only creates a scenario where it becomes impossible to live up to the hype. See Barack Obama. This tendency might be more telling in that too many of us are waiting for the hero to sweep in and save the day, hence, the easy way out.

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.
In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.
As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.
I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
