Could you imagine not doing a family budget for 1,000 days, or businesses going that long without one?

As irresponsible as that might seem, today marks 1,000 days since the U.S. Senate has passed a budget. The last time it passed a budget, you had never heard of the iPad. The U.S. was still able to put astronauts into outer space. And the national debt was $4 trillion smaller than it is today.

Rep. Sandy Adams (D24), along with a number of U.S. House Representatives have sent a letter to President Obama expressing disappointment in his recent recess appointments.

In the letter, the members informed Obama “we stand committed to undoing the damage these appointments have done to our republic and expect that these appointments will be determined to be unconstitutional and invalidated by both the courts and the American people.”

The New York Times determined that the freshman class in the U.S. House has missed the fewest votes since electronic record keeping began in 1990, and Florida Rep. Sandy Adams was among six members not missing a single vote.

Adams, R-Orlando, defeated one-term Democrat Suzanne Kosmas and has gained a reputation as a hard-working and knowledgeable conservative.

Florida Republican Rep. Sandy Adams told The Daily Caller she thinks Attorney General Eric Holder should resign over the deadly Operation Fast and Furious scandal.

“I think he is ultimately responsible,” Adams told TheDC on Friday. “So, that’s why I believe either one of two things has happened: Either he’s incompetent and he can’t run his agency, or he’s not being truthful. Either way, I think it’s time for him to step down.”

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
