Alex Parrish

My name is Alex Parrish and I am a 44-year old natural-born American citizen (native Floridian). I have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in mathematics from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. With a background in technical research as well as scientific thinking and reasoning, I am not a conventional blogger/writer. I am a traditionalist who believes that we need to get our country back to the foundational principles it was built upon. Our Founding Fathers would have never wanted our country to get where we are now. And I believe, with the right people and the right plan, we can get back to where we were meant to be; a shining beacon to the nations lighting the path to a better way of life. I am also a dedicated, born-again Christian with a strong, reasoned belief in the Bible as being the infallible Word of God. I tell you this so you understand that, while I am an analytical, logical, and scientific thinker, I compare my reasoning and conclusions with what the Bible says about the subject. I believe that our Founding Fathers wanted there to be a greater involvement of Christianity and the Bible in government and the so-called “separation of church and state” was never a view in which they espoused. I will argue this case in some of the articles I will be writing and will provide evidence supporting this view as well. That being said, I will try to minimize the amount of Biblical reference in my dissertations because I realize that not everyone is affected by this style of discussion and might be turned off by it. Understand that this does not, in any way, lessen my stance that the Bible is the complete infallible Word of God. And since His Word is Truth, it is the only standard by which we should use to live our lives.

Of Condoms And Coppertone, Or Maternity And Melanoma

By David Folsom

Much energy has been expended in the past few weeks regarding the Obama/Sebelius mandate that religious groups cover the full cost of contraceptives.

The administration came out with their version of “compromise” allowing the religious groups themselves exemption, but mandating that their insurers cover the cost. Great example of Democrats’ “compromise.”

‘Evolve Or Die’ Begins With A Heavy Dose Of Reality

By Tom Tillison

Ryan takes a hard hitting approach with Tea Party Express, but doesn’t follow suit with Tea Party Patriots, barely mentions Tea Party Nation, gives FreedomWorks a complete pass and there’s no mention whatsoever of the latest of what seems like an endless line of opportunists, TeaParty.net.

It seems unfair when you consider any one of the above is as detrimental as the other. In each case, don’t look too closely behind the mirror.

Why, The Babies? Why?

By Lloyd Marcus

In their isolated inside the beltway arrogance, it appears the Obama administration did not anticipate the huge “blow back”, resulting from Obama’s decree that Catholic institutions provide birth control, abortion drugs and other contraceptive services.

This latest attack on the unborn is simply more of the same from Obama. As an Illinois Senator, Obama voted against the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act which authorized hospital staff to…

Hey Sucker, Who Do You Like In The Presidential Primary?

By Allen Wilson

Agendas don’t matter, programs don’t matter, legislation doesn’t matter until our representatives all are abundantly aware that we the people are willing to take control.

Once that fact is firmly ingrained in their psyche then we can get them to govern, to listen, and to act. Until then everything else is just background noise…
