Backed up by the League of Women Voters, a Republican challenger to state Sen. Andy Gardiner charges that a “gerrymandered” new district map favors the incumbent in violation of the state Constitution.
“There is a ‘back alley’ that is used to attain parts of Winter Park into District 10. The incumbent living in Winter Park obviously wants to ‘pinch in’ his home address to acquire certain voters,” said Ron Rushing, who is seeking to unseat Gardiner, R-Orlando, this year.

American for Prosperity-FL reports that yesterday, despite loud cries in opposition, SB 1415 by Sen. Nancy Detert was passed favorably out of the Senate Finance & Tourism Committee, and PCB 7206 was allowed introduction as a committee bill (now SB 2098).

The administration came out with their version of “compromise” allowing the religious groups themselves exemption, but mandating that their insurers cover the cost. Great example of Democrats’ “compromise.”

Ryan takes a hard hitting approach with Tea Party Express, but doesn’t follow suit with Tea Party Patriots, barely mentions Tea Party Nation, gives FreedomWorks a complete pass and there’s no mention whatsoever of the latest of what seems like an endless line of opportunists, TeaParty.net.
It seems unfair when you consider any one of the above is as detrimental as the other. In each case, don’t look too closely behind the mirror.
