I can put up with make-work work and political maneuvering, for only so long. At some point, I get impatient, distracted, or just plain bored, and shoot off on my own course…
With the books now closed on 2010 and looking back on our first year of operation, we here at Orlando Political Press are excited to share our performance results with our readers and give a glimpse of a few things we have in store for 2011.
OPP began operation as an alternative news source with a conservative perspective and has been growing steadily. Close to 2000 fellow Floridians now receive our ‘Daily Update’, sent directly to subscriber’s via email and we are also on FaceBook and Twitter.
In a world of political correctness and Christmas culture wars, Reagan’s national address is almost unbelievable! It is a breath of fresh Christmas air!
What happened to the politicians like him who are not afraid to hold fast to the Christian faith despite what others think or say about their beleifs?

For an overwhelming number of Americans who celebrate Christmas, Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
New Rasmussen Reports polling finds that 87% of Americans celebrate Christmas in their family, and 70% of that group recognize it as a religious holiday celebrating the birth of Christ rather than a secular one.
The reshuffling of Congress, along with the ever expanding strength of Tea Party candidates, will throw a big wrench into the continued destruction of the American Way by establishment politicians.
Thinking about how to write a 1000+ page bill will be the last thing on their little minds. They won’t be jockeying around for committee chairmanships, assignments, or where they are in the pecking order. They’ll be trying to figure out what they’ll do with all that free time on their hands, come January.

I remember the instant that the mood changed.
As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
