Is The Attack On Herman Cain An Attack On The Tea Party?

West Orlando Tea Party

I am starting to believe that the accusations against Herman Cain are an attack against the will of the people.

After all, Herman Cain is a political outsider who was upsetting the status quo and beginning to pose a real threat to those in power. In particular, I am sure Obama was not too happy about the prospects of facing a guy like Herman Cain in the debates.

When the Tea Party was gaining ground and momentum, the “machine” tried to silence and discredit us at every opportunity. They knew the facts were on our side and their only chance was(and still is) to attack by spreading rumors and innuendo. It’s Chicago politics at its best.

Recently we saw Herman Cain thrust into the lead because of his positive message and his plan to restore America and solve our problems. As a Tea Party favorite, he was resonating with the people and rising in the polls. As soon as he took the lead, it was time for the attacks to begin.

When they could not pick apart his message, his passion, or his accomplishments in the business world, they decided the only way to defeat him is to attack his personal character. And so the accusations began to surface in a coordinated fashion. Ann Coulter wrote a great piece that the media will never mention tying David Axelrod to some of these allegations and the ties between the NRA and Chicago.

The latest accuser, Ginger White, who claims to supposedly have had an affair with Mr. Cain for 13 years, never came forward when Mr. Cain ran for the Georgia Senate a few years back. Why is that? Why now? According to Ms. White’s former business partner, Ms. White never mentioned anything about Herman Cain.

I believe there is more going on than what we see in the news. Right now it is nothing more than a bunch of unsubstantiated claims that seek to discredit the candidacy of Herman Cain and the voice of the people. Just look how quick the pundits are writing him off. There are many that would love to see him close up his tent and go on his merry way just like they would like to see the tea party go to hell.

Why is it someone like Newt Gingrich can admittedly cheat on his wife, be on his third marriage, and no one seems to mind? He can sit and joke with Nancy Pelosi about global warming and it’s okay. Cain on the other hand, has at this point been accused of impropriety of which he flat out denies and which no proof exists and is he vilified.

It reminds me of how the tea party was falsely accused of racism over and over again in order to silence our voices. Remember they said someone spit on a black congressman but there was no evidence? Now they are doing it again by trying to eliminate Herman Cain from the primary election. Same strategy, different place and time.

Even if Herman Cain is guilty as charged (I don’t believe he is), does that mitigate his ability to solve our country’s problems? If that is the case, then why vote for Newt? Why does he get a free pass? JFK had issues as well but yet was able to lead. And what about Bill Clinton? Speaking of Bill Clinton, can we just bring him back to finish Obama’s term?

I thought Americans were tired of politicians and what they have done to our country but it appears they quickly forget. We appear to be letting the media once again decide whom we should vote for via the news flow we get. We are being herded like sheep and don’t even know it.

If a convicted felon could go to Washington DC and stop our government from going further and further into debt, I would seriously consider voting for him. America elected the ‘perfect’ candidate in 2008 and we see where that has gotten us. We also saw what kind of enthusiasm John McCain brought to the Republican party too.

Herman Cain brings about an enthusiasm that the Republican Party and the rest of America so desperately need right now. I hope that in the coming days Herman Cain decides to stick it out and continue to fight for his children and grandchildren and stay in the race.

Here is something else voters need to ask themselves: which candidate would have the most grassroots support during the most important election in our lifetime? I can tell you it would be by far Herman Cain. The Democrats also will not be able to play the race card and class warfare argument against Herman Cain and they know it.

I am convinced someone out there does not want to see Herman Cain run against Obama in 2012 and I hope people think a little deeper about what is really going on.

We should be focusing on the one candidate who has the ability to solve our nation’s problems and I still believe that is Herman Cain.

Unfortunately 3/4 of the American population are sheep being led astray by the centralized media and Democrat Party “gutter tactics” The Tea Party if true to their message and principles need to stand up like Bro. Ron and defend Bro. Cain on his message and electibilty. Last I checked Newt had more baggage than United Airlines and he shoots up in the polls?? Tea Party where are you..are you conspiring with the Republican Establishment to nominate another watered down Conservative that does not share your values. Tea Party are you going to allow America to be “John McCained” again. Herman Cain is the Tea Party Candidate. The Democrat Party is terrified of this guy because he is Black…he is a Conservative and he is Tea Party!! They are afraid that he will siphon away a percentage of the Black vote in a general election. They cannot play the race card against him…they can’t use class warfare against him. Obama would love to run against Newt or Mitt and remind America what rascist the Republican party is. America..Tea Party we have a golden opportunity to make a statement..actually more than one statement by nominating Bro. Cain. Don’t allow the centralized media to play you for fools. Let’s ride the Cain Train all the way to the White House!!!!!!

  4. Ron McCoy says:

Thanks for the kind words. I just hope people realize that in some sense we are being manipulated and being steered back to establishment candidates. We should be voting for the strongest leader who can take on Washington without ANY strings attached. Herman is that guy but like others, I started to waiver a little until I took a step back and started to put the pieces together.

Why do you think he has secret service protection? They are trying really hard to get him out and I hope and pray the American people can see through all of this.

I will be at the Honk-and Wave on Friday to show my support for him.

  5. Jane says:

I know this 6th so-called woman! She is a Publicity Hound originally from Florida! Just before the Kent State Shooting during the Veit Nam War – She had been in NYC at a Party where Mark was at! She made a Pass at him that he Refused! She said she was going to Kent State and Became the “Oh My GOD” Girl over the Dead Body of a Kent State Student – She didn’t know! It was on Life Magazine, Time and all the Networks! 1 is a Political Action Committee Activist out of Chicago! 2 belong to the Rick Perry Campaign! 1 Currently works in the White House! And the Restaurant Assoc. Girl that originally attacked him did the same 3 years later at her other job! She was Proven to be A Liar Then and FIRED! Herman Cain 2012! Wake UP! God Bless You All! Jane.

  6. Ron McCoy says:

Here is another article I just read which conveys what all conservatives need to consider.

    http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2011/12/01/would_nominating_newt_destroy_the_tea_party

It’s time for people to keep an open mind and not jump to conclusions and consider the motives of the media and the establishment.

    I’m just sayin….

  7. Jane says:

  8. Don says:

How sad. A year ago the Tea Party was a driving force in politics. Now they’re paraniod. What happen to the fire?

  9. Patrick says:

The part of character that does matter to me is that Herman Cain is a former Fed Governor who supported the bank bailouts and opposes an audit of the Federal Reserve. Anyone who is for bank bailouts is not in my view a good representative of what the Tea Party is or stands for. Anyone who voted for TARP or supports or supported TARP should not be on the Republican ticket.

  10. handymanherb says:

I’m still hoping he keeps going, he can say, I’m sorry, I can’t do nothing to prove some thing didn’t happen, but here is what we can do to solve to problems in the USA.

I think he should keep on going, I get mad at the people ready to give up so easy, the Democrats don’t do that, more sex you have the better, and being gay is a plus.

  11. TONY CALABRO says:

    RON,
YOUR RIGHT ON!!! WE NEED TO KEEP PLUGGING AWAY. HERMAN’S OUR MAN.

  12. Linda says:

    I agree with you, Ron!

  13. Jim of FL says:

Before Cain the Tea Party was a lose coalition of Patriots advocating for less spending and less gov. With Cain, the Tea Party is focused and poses a real threat to the establishment.

Neither party, or the pundits can let that happen because in essence it says the people are in control, not the parties or the MSM. They cannot let that happen; who would need them? They are all working together to quash the rebellion of the people. I can hear their call, RINOs UNITE!

Gingrich has already done what Cain is accused of, at least twice, but apparently that is OK! Cain is guilty of responding to text messages. Wow. Bill Clinton must be rolling on the floor laughing.

Cain is running to be the CEO of the US, and I want to hire him to bring our economy back. I never wanted him, or any other politician as a spiritual leader.

  14. Rosie says:

In my work life, more than 40 years, I’ve worked with and for quite a few black gentlemen, bosses and coworkers. I use the term gentlemen because they were. While the black boss is business, there is a level of friendliness that lifts them (at least my fellows) above the rest. I am a white woman and was always respected by these gentlemen. However, it didn’t insult me nor offend me nor threaten me when they casually put an arm around my shoulder, patted my face or squeezed my arm and called me darlin’, sweety-pie or pretty lady. I was charmed.
My opinion of Herman Cain is that he is most likely the same type of business gentleman. Business, friendly and dear.
What offends me is that he has been ruined by the liberal press and scheming women on the take for money.
Herman! You’ll always have a sweet spot in my heart!

  15. Rosie says:

Oh! I do agree with DON. A year ago the Tea Party had guts and grit. Now it seems we’ve been backed in to a politically correct cornor and we’re scared silly that the media may run an “iffy” story about us. Who on earth (in the Tea Party) should care what the media or screetching liberals say about us. Even FOX news has been back sliding to what sounds like simpering. I’m sick to death of this wobbly backbone in the T-Party.

  16. johnny maio says:

i agree herman should stay in the game to win for all the reasons mentioned.THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION IS AFRAID OF MR.CAIN.I HOPE HERMAN CAN GET ALL THOSE PEOPLE EXPOSED WHO STARTED THIS CHARACTER ATTACK ON HIM.THAT WOULD MAKE HIM SOAR TO BE THE PRESIDENT IN NO TIME !!!! HE WOULD BE UNBEATABLE!!! JUST LIKE THEY TRIED TO DO TO CHIEF JUSTICE THOMAS.HERMAN GO GET THEM WE WILL STAND WITH YOU ALL THE WAY!!!

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

By Kim Carroll

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

The third post will address Gotterdammerung, or what happens after the Minsky Moment.

Is Mack Campaign Getting Desperate?

By Tom Tillison

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.

As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

By L. Persona

Florida Democrats believe they can win a few Republican seats in Congress and are preparing a major offensive against several Republicans facing tough challenges this year. They believe that redistricting gives them a chance to offset the seats they are sure to give up.

However, the Democrats still fail to realize the albatross that ObamaCare places on their party’s efforts…

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
