Why Is Herman Cain Still Leading In The Polls?

He’s still leading for corn sake!! How can that be? Is it a flying bird, is it a plane? No.. it’s Herman Cain.
The last few months have been very revealing in more than one sense of the word. When our own President and former house speaker Nancy Pelosi came out in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement, it revealed something.
When Florida conservatives stood up and overwhelmingly voted for Herman Cain at Presidency 5, it said something.
When Cain started to lead in the polls and was dismissed by many of the media, including some Republican pundits, it revealed even more.
When the sexual harassment charges emerged, it became apparent to many of us what we are facing and why Herman Cain continues to lead.
Herman Cain is an outsider and is not suppose to win the nomination. We could see it coming at some point, and when the media and his opponents could not win on the merits and it was apparent the voice of the people was being heard loud and clear, it was time to attack.
After all, to have an ‘outsider’ win the nomination is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.
Al Gore had no idea that when he invented the internet that it would come back to bite him and his Socialist party. When Obama passed Obama Care, he woke a sleeping giant. The Republican establishment and Barack Obama still have no clue about what people really think and I would suggest to them that their efforts of relying on the media to do their labor is old school politics. Times have changed and the media and their pundits can only buy so many votes.
So what is it that many of those people are missing and choosing to ignore? We The People. It appears that the polls are irrelevant to some and while I am skeptical of the polls themselves, I believe they do carry some weight. Yet many want to continually dismiss Herman Cain’s candidacy and fear his rise in polls over the last few months.
The biggest thing right now I see that conservatives need to fear is the media and the political establishment. Both entities are showcasing their talents and the complete disregard of the people. Shame on both of them and anyone who buys into the story line.
Herman Cain resonates with people and his message is something that other candidates are now trying to emulate. It now appears all the candidates have a tax plan and Obama is desperate himself to have his own grassroots movement. Sadly, he and Pelosi have chosen the Occupy Wall Street crowd and as in the coming weeks, they will try and distance themselves as it turns out to be a huge mistake.
America is in desperate need of true leader who is not afraid to speak their mind. We want a real person, not a puppet who has all the answers and is not politically correct.
Herman Cain has shown tremendous courage as he has been thrown into the fire and handled it very well. He does not use a teleprompter, but shows up to take the tough questions on MSNBC, ABC, The O’Reilly Factor, and others. His life story is inspirational to every American who aspires to be something. To those who want to rely on the government for their livelihood, he is a threat.
If America continues to rely on the media and the political pundits to tell us who we should elect and who can win, we are done as a Republic.
If two or three hundred people can show up in a sleepy town(Eustis) in Florida to help Herman Cain get elected on a Tuesday night in early November, count me in. I imagine there is the same response in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina despite the ‘experts’ opinion of his lack of a ground game.
If the media has any interest in Herman Cain’s real support, maybe they should show up at Legends next Thursday night. They just might have a real story that has substance.

You pretty much nailed it Ron. I’ve been following Mr. Cain since about the first of the year, and I kept telling all my friends and family: you watch this guy, he’s gonna be the next president. At first they laughed, but they’re not laughing now. In fact most of them are now riders on the Cain Train.
I get that he’s a bit rough around the edges, as a candidate, but he has what most of the others do not: a love of country, optimism, and solid conservative ideals. With the right folks at his back, he’s going to help us save our country.

I think we are looking at an ICON for American Conservative Politics. There have been several. Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Lloyd Marcus, and now Herman Cain. One thing they all have in common? An unambiguous love of a country whose greatness lies with We the People. We can’t and won’t let them down.
The media will eventually have to recognize his candidacy. I was at the Founder’s Day festival in Ocoee today….Lot’s and lot’s of Cain supporters who are tired of the status quo and love his message and fortitude. Meeting next Thursday should be huge turnout.
I have two thoughts on Mr. Cain now after watching him and Newt Gingrich last night together on stage.
1. The media is pushing his popularity in hopes of winning the GOP nomination because they know Obama will make him look totally incompetant on stage.
2. This is the same media that threatened you with being labled a racist and controlled all the information about another black looking man three years ago running for President.
The media totally dismisses Newt Gingrich because they know he’s the only one that will make the TOTUS and BOTUS (obama’s teleprompter & blackberry) go up in smoke in a 1 on 1 debate.
The black community organizers call Mr. Cain an “Oreo” black outside white inside, how many black voters even know Obama’s mother was White and if it wasn’t for her genes, American citizenship and ties with the communist party in America Obama would most likely be a Somalia Pirate today?
The media will continue tp promote OWS protesters and attempt to convince the public that the majority of Americans agree with them, the media would like nothing better than for Obama to declare Martial Law and postpone the 2012 election. That is Obama’s plan, that is the media plan as it provides a distraction for scandals like Solyndra, Fast&Furious and many others they aren’t even reporting about.
Year and a half ago I discovered the background check page for national security clearance on the FBI website employment section, twenty questions ten of which make Michelle and Barack Obama not eligible for employment. This really is the million dollar question, isn’t it? For me it seems even bigger. We have grown so jaded with politics and so misdirected by the extremists in the media, that we will accept a totally and completely unqualified buffoon as a person we want to lead the free world. We did it in the last election with Obama, and now here comes Cain. (By the way, I would put several others in that category as well.)
Fundamentally, there are three parties: Cain is the TParty candidate, Romney the GOP candidate (though it should be Huntsman) and Obama the Dem candidate. My question is really this: why does the Tea Party not have the courage to really BE a party instead of insisting on hijacking the GOP?
Herman Cain is the true Conservatives choice not the liberal socialist medias choice.
In this field of Republican Candidates Herman Cain is #1 and the only person, in my opinion, who can top Mr. Cain is Congressman Alan West

Actually, Jon Huntsman is the Democratic Party candidate disguising himself as being a Republican.
And similarly, Ron Paul and Gary Johnson are the Libertarian Party candidates disguising themselves as Republican.
In a similar vein, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry are Progressive Party candidates disguising themselves as Republicans. But since the Republican Party has Progressives leading the party at a national level (and at many state levels), it’s really no surprise that the Republican Party establishment has placed their support behind Romney and/or Perry.
Historically (and unfortunately), voters have allowed themselves to be led around by the party establishment leaders of BOTH major political parties.
But with the advent of the Tea Party movement (the TRUE movement not led by individuals, but rather a collection of individuals sharing similar sentiment that our government has far outgrown the expectations of our founding fathers), American voters have once again gotten back in touch with educating ourselves about where our nation should be headed and how that contrasts with with our leaders have been trying to take her for the past several decades. Of course the fact that Obama (and his footsoldiers) has pressed the accelerator to the floor in speeding the pace at which our nation is heading in the wrong direction has made it easier for us all to see what is happening… and impressed us all with the need to take action immediately.
We’ve now seen that passivity is an approach that will see America collapse. We now recognize that this is the time for action.
As for your suggestion that since Herman Cain has never held elected public office at the national level before, I would suggest to you that virtually none of our founding fathers had held elected public office at the national level when they answered the call to form America.
To even try to compare Obama to Cain is absurd. Cain would run circles around Obama and knows more about the current state of America that most of the candidates. Why? He actually has been talking to them and listening to them for years. As far as a third party, that is wishful thinking on the Democrats part and would help Obama win re-election. We already have a Libertasrian and Indpendent Party. The tea party is a movement and was never designed to be a third party. As far as the GOP, they strayed from their principles long ago and the tea party is simply reminding them of what they were founded on.
If the media and the left thought Obama would steamroll Cain in a debate, they would not be attacking. They have attacked viscously which tells a lot. The reason Cain is getting a lot of media attention is because he is smart enough and courageous enough to speak to the camera, without a teleprompter I might add. How come Romney doesn’t do interviews?
Sexual harrassment? The basis for any claim is VERY subjective and Cain has said flat out that he has not harrassed anyone. Period. I believe him.
I am sure there will be more attacks but Herman Cain is a big boy as evidenced over the last few weeks.
Gingrich has done well in debates and if we want a top otch debater in our Country, then we should vote Gingrich. If you want a candiate who looks the part and has all the answers and never skips a beat, then vote for Obama or Romney. If we want a powerful leader who understands our country and the principles that make us great, I believe Cain is the man.
Obama is done but a few GOP candidates will have you believe we need to elect the ‘most electible” candidate. That is hogwash just like the polls that show Barack ahead.
For all the naysayers, come out to Legends on Orange Avenue on Thursday Nov 10th 6 pm and see what many are failing to recognize about Herman Cain.

I sure would love to find “the media” this poster was talking about cause so far , rino mitt romney’s promotion has come out strong on foxnews over and over and over again but they do seem to have Perry as their number 2 guy. Meanwhile, abc, nbc, cbs, cnn & all the major newspapers continue to go after Cain even with the non-alleged allegations that have failed to fool the majority of the public!

The Democrat Party & MSM & LSM are saying that Mitt Romney would be the most formidable GOP candidate to gate the mindless Republican’s to nominate him. Then the 200 pages of inconsistencies that McCain had on Romney will be an Ant Hill compared to what will be thrown at him in the general election (it is called reverse psychology) and the using of Neurolinguistics just like in psychological warfare!
Herman Cain scares them because he is the America Success Story and the epitome of American Exceptionalism, educationally (with 8 honorary doctorates), genuine “Rocket Scientist” and a Mathematical Analytical ability that is a rarity in the Political Arena. As President and Statesman for America Herman Cain will be the example to all children as to what can happen if you work hard versus becoming a (community organizer which subtle beginning of Marxism) that we are seeing now!! We will be a better America because of President Cain and hopefully VP Gingrich.
