The UN Wildlands Project…Taking Over America Starting With Florida
Almost all Americans know about the United Nations, but few know about Agenda 21, or the US government’s implementation of UN policies.
The UN issued several policies at the 1992 Earth Summit, one of which was the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Compliance with this UN policy is being driven and managed by the Wildlands Network which shares the same goals as the CBD; to set aside half the land in America for animals.
But let’s reframe this issue just a bit and put it into perspective; is there any reason you would turn over half of America to Vladimir Putin? What is the difference between living under Putin’s rule or living under UN rule? We are giving the eco-socialists our land (the agencies buy it with our taxes) and we are sliding down the slope to living under UN rule. In Florida, the government has acquired 28% of the land (9.9 million acres), so the UN’s work is already better than 50% done in Florida!
The process of returning land to its wild state is referred to as “re-wilding.” Wildlands are created by buying land, reducing or eliminating human activities and access to the land, and then putting buffer zones around them. Then another wildland is created nearby, and they connect them with more land purchases. This accumulation of land begins to form corridors, and the corridors then connect to one of the four North American Wildways (migration routes).
This project is supported and managed by eco-socialists like the Sierra Club, and The Nature Conservancy which brokers land deals, and often works with the USF&WS to obtain and transfer land.
The Wildlands project (now called Wildlands Network and based in Florida) was first proposed by Earth First’s Dave Foreman, in 1991. The eco-socialists do not hide their intent: “The Wildlands Network is now spearheading an initiative to connect habitat along the length of eastern North America, from the Everglades of Florida…”
The ultimate goal is to erase any sign of human activity (houses, roads, trucks, etc.); therefore, humans will be pushed out of wildland areas. Figure One shows the UN’s plan for America. We will be living in the black areas (human settlements), while most of the land will be off limits to humans (red, orange, yellow).
Mr. Foremen, a former board member of the Sierra Club, and The Nature Conservancy stated, “My three main goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with its full complement of species, returning throughout the world.”
Federal and state politicians continue passing legislation supporting this UN goal despite the overt usurpation of American sovereignty. In 1994, President Clinton issued Executive Order 12906 – Coordinating Geographic Data Acquisition and Access; which resulted in the development of GAP, a graphical mapping system designed to compile the geospatial data and identify bio-diverse units, needed by the Wildlands Network.. (Figures 2 – 4 are from the GAP program.)
In 2010, House Resolution HR 5101 the ‘‘Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act of 2010” was introduced, and didn’t make it into law, but it provides an insight into the thoughts of our politicians. The EPA helped out when they started promoting the Wildlands Network on their site.
In 1999, the Florida legislature passed the Florida Forever program which authorized $3 billion in bonds to purchase land. In 2008, the program was reauthorized with an additional $3 billion in bonds to conserve land. The Florida Forever program has provided $6 billion for the acquisition of land.
As a result of Florida Forever, Florida agencies like DEP’s division of Land Management, and Fish and Wildlife are buying land under the Florida Forever program which states the purchases are for “conservation and recreation lands.”
However, the Wildlands Network states the land is for: “ ‘landscape connectivity’ – a connected system of conservation lands – has become widely recognized as essential for long-term ecological viability and wildlife survival, and with this recognition has come renewed interest in making a continental corridor from Québec to Florida, an Eastern ‘Wildway,’ a reality.”
There are four Wildways in North America, including the Eastern Wildway, which extends into the Everglades. It is doubtful Floridians would be approving these expenditures if they knew the real goal of these land purchases.
Three wildlands (blue) purchased by FL F&WS are shown connected by a fourth parcel (rust) creating a corridor. These wildlands are “managed for biodiversity – disturbance events suppressed,” which is bureaucratic speak meaning human activity that could disturb animals is prohibited; “Keep out.”
Figure Three, shows the land purchases around the Ocala National Forest by numerous government agencies.
Figure Four, shows lands designated for environmental use in the State of Florida. Floridians have given 28% of Florida (9.9 million acres) to the government. Unless we stop these government land acquisitions we will all end up in apartments located on a little black dot known as a human settlement, as presented on Figure One.
Politicians of both parties, and agencies at the federal and state levels are working together to create the UN’s vision of controlling 50% of America, and the federal government already owns about 50% of the western US. Karl Marx wrote, “The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property.” The UN and their eco-socialist ilk have pledged to take our land and our freedom, and the people in our government are helping them!
All property owners should ask themselves if they would prefer to control their own land, or would they prefer their land be managed by a global management system of government experts? The socialists have been working unimpeded for years, and it is apparent freedom loving Americans need to play catch-up. We cannot rely upon, or trust, our government or politicians to do it for us. There is a new paradigm we must accept; only we the people can stop this.

Great article! This is the news that should be on the 6:00 News every night instead of the local fire fight or mugging! This is obvioulsy a well researched item – but would be even better if we had names attached to the effort. (Other tha Bill Clinton signing a document, I’m not sure who else to specifically write to.)
Both of the FL Forever Acts passed through the FL Congress with near unanimous votes, ~99% in favor. Both with a Republican sponsoring the bill (Latvala 1999, Saunders 2008).
We need to focus on repealing FL Forever, and educating the public, legislature, and governor on this issue.
Insightful and disturbing. I agree that educating the general public on such underhanded initiatives of this proportion on a issue that is fundamental to American’s way of life is needed to begin a grass-roots effort to halt such ill-conceived movements.
I agree with the Florida Forever plan, and I think we humans will benefit greatly from this plan in the long term. For a really insightful conservative perspective on this (and related humane issues) I recommend Dominion by Matthew Scully (who wrote Sarah Palin’s convention speech).
I DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY U.N. INVOLVEMENT. Like the old saying goes GET THE U.S. OUT OF THE U.N. AND THE U.N. OUT OF THE U.S.
Hi Stan,
Much like US citizens, animals in the US are extremely lucky. They have more protection here than anywhere in the world, and Americans tend not to eat their pets.
So how we can “benefit greatly from this plan in the long term?”
Well from their actions and attitudes, you certaily can tell that Socialists do not believe in God because God said humans were over all the food and animals. Not that we have always done the best with it, but we certainly have not worked destroying America.
Thank God Forever Florida is out of money and from all counts it looks like Governor Scott understands what this is and is not in favor of what has been happening or what is planned for the future.
Thanks so much for the good copy!
You’re so right!! We need to retain as much of our land as possible.
We desperately need it for farming so we can continue to feed your fat ass!
I don’t want to see north Florida paved over (like much of South Florida) and wildlife needs corridors. Without wildlife corridors, predator species decline in numbers and prey species overpopulate. But I certainly don’t want any part of the UN involved in these decisions.
Also, Americans want a severe reduction in immigration, which impacts our natural resources. We are ignored and even forced to accept unfiltered illegal immigrants. The UN is also weighing in on Arizona’s immigration law enforcement.
Get the UN out of the U.S. and the U.S. out of the UN!
Hello all,
A commenter recommended the writings of Matthew Scully.
Those who are interested in the work of Matthew Scully might have a look at his book, “Dominion,” if you haven’t already done so.
Matthew Scully is interviewed about “Dominion” in The National Review

Steven, you want names? Tom Vilsack, Adam Putnam and Bill Nelson. Some of them.

This is to purchase development rights from ranchers. That means that they cannot even put up a shed. If house or barn burns (and there are plenty of wackos to make that happen), it cannot be re-built. The FL Economic Development Council is separating development and water rights from dairy farmers in north Florida, by offering to sign them up to sell milk through state-run co-op. http://www.Agenda21today.com
FL Panhandle Patriots and other tea parties taking this on. It is such a complicated, tangled web – with the element of conspiracy theory, that it is hard to get the word out in a way that non-engaged people will understand. We now have the TEA PARTY CHANNEL on Crestview Community Television http://www.cvctv.info/channel.php?channel=tea Watch Karen Schoen (education re:Agenda 21) and Ruth Esser (propertyright rights) rights) from the Reviving America Rally held in Fort Walton on July 30.
Look at this map of ICLEI Cities and Counties in Florida, as well as the section of southern Florida under UNEP (UN Environmental Programme) control – one of the priorities listed on the UNEP website is Environmental Governance.

James, thanks for a wonderful article. Check out: http://www.agenda21today.com
Is there anyway you can set this entire article up to send it in an e-mail to Sen. Rubio. Rep. Ross, and Sen. Nelson? I just sent them an e-mail about the “wildlands” near the border of I guess maybe Arizona for the Homeland Security and other gov’t to take this over for safety of the border but it was 100 miles inland. Sounded like Agenda 21 to me so I told them this and to please work on what Agenda 21 is doing in the guise of other projects.
Bill Nelson is a serious waste of time! He needs to go and we need to help him go!
You have some serious misunderstandings about the aims of habitat corridor preservation. The Wildlands Project and similar efforts aim to make it possible for ecosystems to function with human life and development, not to stop human development. Wildlife corridors are generally open to human recreational use. People are not being forced off of their land, nor are they being forced to sell their land. Conservation easements are set up voluntarily by the land-owners. In many cases, providing wildlife corridors is accomplished simply be creating a way for animals to bypass barriers such as roads, fences, and dams – without compromising the integrity of those structures. In addition, when government funds are used to purchase land (from willing sellers), that land becomes public property – meaning it does not belong to the UN or even the state government – it belongs to the public and is managed by a state agency. Public access for recreation is maintained in these areas.
Let’s look at an example for Florida. Two large mammals persist in Florida – black bears and panthers. Panthers are restricted to a small area in the south, and are often killed crossing roads. In the context of panthers, wildlife corridors make it possible for them to safely cross roads like I-75 (with the corollary benefit of reducing damage to autos when they crash into the animals). Black bears can be found in several isolated forest areas throughout Florida. Long-term survival of large animal populations is partly dependent on the genetic interchange that occurs when individuals move from one area to another. Corridors would make it possible for bears to move, for example, between Ocala to Osceola National Forests without negatively affecting human activity.
There is no anti-human conspiracy here – UN or otherwise.
John,
I don’t know what happens in FL but in OR the citites have to have community plans that fit in with the state’s plan and wetlands is one of 19 plans. Land owners must give up their land that is adjacent to a newly prescribed wetland. They still pay taxes on their entire land as if they could use it. This is government gone wild. We now have protected wolves that kill farm animals and you get arrested if you kill one on your property even if it is killing your animals. This is serious stuff. They actually purchased these wolves to let them loose.
@Hilltop,
Can you clarify your statement that “community plans have to fit in with the state’s plan”? I don’t know what you mean by this. What is a “newly prescribed wetland”? How much “adjacent” land are you saying that landowners must “give up”? In what sense do they give it up? Obviously it remains their property if they are still compelled to pay taxes?
With regard to wolves, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the only place where wolves have been intentionally re-introduced is in the Yellowstone region of the northern Rockies. The wolves in Oregon and Washington migrated naturally from Canada. Also, I was under the impression that the state (or maybe the federal government) compensated ranchers for livestock lost to wolf predation – though maybe that’s only in the Yellowstone region as well? People are not jailed for killing wolves, though they can be fined.
Seem to me the government has too much money, buying ranches at 2 or 3 times the real value making it impossible for the private sector to buy the land . The private land owner can put the land to good use where our gov might provide a place to hunt and that is the only thing that land will be used for, except providing more government jobs at the exspence of the American taxpayer.
Wolves that was a real smart one, commonsense was used to get rid of them the first time and politicians were used to bring them back, we know what they are missing on all ends. The ranchers have issues now with the wolves but wait until the wolves start eating our dogs, cats and Kids out of our backyards in our small towns out west, think our government and animal lover group’s will feel so smart then.
America we have to wake up soon and make major changes, the high powers that are running our country are not here for America, just here for there bank account’s. Thanks for reading.
Just to let John know what we are up against with the wolves out west this is big country, steep heavily wooded so finding the carcasses that thewolves ate is not always possible, without the carcass no money from the taxpayer’s not the government, remember our taxes pay for everything that the government spends and I can’t afford anymore taxes.
