Video; DisGrayson District 8

By Ron McCoy

The West Orlando Tea Party released their second video entitled DisGrayson District 8.  The video rewinds back over the last two years with some of Alan’s shining moments.  It also serves to remind voters that they are responsible for electing competent officials and that being complacent does have consequences.

When we were in DC last week, there was a buzz (boos) about Grayson when people learned we were from Orlando.  ”Are y’all getting rid of Grayson” one patriot asked while we were at the Mall during the Restoring Honor Rally.

Some people also asked us about Grayson’s ties to the fake tea party(Florida TEA Party) and if it will affect the election.  Our answer was that we thought Webster would win if people don’t fall for the Florida Tea Party trick.

ALAN GRAYSON: Glenn Beck 8/28 Rally Participants Were Wearing Sheets Over their Heads 25 Years Ago

Posted by Ron McCoy

Ron is a native Floridian from the Central Florida area who is married with three children ages 15,13, and 11. In March of 2010, Ron and his wife Laura started the West Orlando Tea Party as a way to help citizens on the west side of town have their voices heard. Ron has been a financial advisor for nearly 20 years and is the owner of Windermere Financial. After seeing our country's debt totals rise and the direction our country is headed, Ron and Laura decided that sitting around and doing nothing is no longer an option.

    Ron,
Thank you for putting this resource together. We will get the word out along with you. The more we are informed about the way Alan Grayson interacts with the constituents of Fl-District 8 the more we see that he IS NOT a representative. He is the bully that is pushing the Progressive, Liberal agenda upon the people. In the same manner that the Obama masses chanted “Yes We Can” our chant will be “WE WILL STAND!” and we will not stand for Alan Grayson to be in office another day beyond 2010.
    Vote Daniel Webster for FL-D8

  3. Florida Cracker Jack says:

Who is you all and let out of what?? And learn what? His words speak volumes about who he is and what his positions are. He is an embarrassment to most Americans…even the Democrats.

If you like him, then vote for him or Peg Dunmire….they are one in the same. Maybe if Peg Dunmire wins, you all can visit Doug Guetzloe at the Orange County jail and celebrate. His sentencing is October 22nd . Alan Grayson and his Florida Tea Party have a lot in common. Especially when it comes to financial ties and their rhetoric.

    The truth is painful sometimes.

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

By Kim Carroll

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

The Interest Bomb Is Ticking

By: George Noga

This post kicks off a three-part series about the crisis of spending, debt and deficits.

The next part deals with the interval between now and the inevitable arrival of the Minsky Moment, i.e. the unknown and unknowable time when an unsustainable economic phenomenon suddenly collapses.

The third post will address Gotterdammerung, or what happens after the Minsky Moment.

Is Mack Campaign Getting Desperate?

By Tom Tillison

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.

As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

By L. Persona

Florida Democrats believe they can win a few Republican seats in Congress and are preparing a major offensive against several Republicans facing tough challenges this year. They believe that redistricting gives them a chance to offset the seats they are sure to give up.

However, the Democrats still fail to realize the albatross that ObamaCare places on their party’s efforts…

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
