Tea Party Favorite Chuck DeVore Endorses Bruce O’Donoghue

(Winter Park, Fl)–  Conservative small businessman Bruce O’Donoghue today announced that California Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, a former candidate for the U.S. Senate from California and a favorite among the tea party movement, endorsed his campaign for Congress this afternoon.

“I’m proud to endorse Bruce for Congress because I know he’ll actually serve the people of Central Florida rather than using his office as an audition for his own MSNBC show,” said Assemblyman DeVore.  “More than just a good friend, Bruce is a rock-solid conservative and small businessman.  I hope you’ll join me in supporting Bruce O’Donoghue in the August 24th primary election.”

“I’m honored to have the support of a staunch conservative and tea party movement leader like Chuck DeVore in our race to fire Alan Grayson,” said O’Donoghue.   “Chuck embodies the Reagan and tea party principles our campaign has been advocating from the beginning – smaller government, lower taxes, an end to reckless spending, and a return to the founding principles which make our country so great.  I appreciate this key endorsement and look forward to meeting with more tea party movement activists in the days leading up to the primary election.”

Florida’s 8th Congressional District is considered a “Tilt Republican” District by the Rothenberg Political Report.

I was pulling for Chuck Devore in the CA primary. He is a strong conservative and his endorsement means a lot to me.

  2. [...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by Torey Van Oot, Alex Burns. Alex Burns said: spotted: chuck devore in fl-08 http://bit.ly/ctSdnG [...]

  3. Sam Adams says:

One loser endorsing a soon to be loser.

  4. Ccloo says:

I am so over all the ‘endorsing’ going on. Everyone should be making up their own minds and not pay attention to the who’s who in the political arena. In my State Rep. District 80, Mayfield has been endorsed by several high profile people. One being Marco Rubio. The only problem is that Rubio never even contacted the other two candidates challenging the incumbent. So how does he know he is endorsing the best candidate? He doesn’t. Mayfield is a follow the pack Representative. She does not introduce legislation and the RPOF throws her a bone every now and then to make it look like she ‘doing something’. She has never once contacted my county commissioners to see what issues they are dealing with, what could they use some help with. After all, she is supposed to represent us in Tallahassee. Well, she doesn’t. I have researched the candidates and know that Brad Ward has done his homework and has a plan to ‘represent’ my district with a jobs plan. http://www.wardrep2010.com/myviews.htm

  5. Dan Fisher says:

Why do all of the comments always have to be so negative from the other campaigns. On behalf of the Bieling campaign, Bruce we wish you the best.

  6. Gabe Ruth says:

Yes the Bieling campaign is a shining light of positivity. Like when he said he would never support Patricia Sullivan in the General live on Bud Hedinger’s show. Not that I disagree with him….but you can’t say he hasn’t gone negative also.

  7. Ross Bieling says:

Bruce, congratulations to your campaign for receiving the endorsement. Now you can bring the tea the next time we get together – I take mine with sugar. Best regards, Ross & Hope

  8. Dan Fisher says:

Ross Bieling filed a police report last night with the OPD (case number 10-396116) against Phil Russo of the Todd Long campaign for stealing signs. Ross and I personally witnessed Phil driving around the city and stealing campaign signs. Phil along with 2 other Long campaign workers had a huge stack of our signs in their car. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

By KrisAnne Hall

Our founders deliberately did not establish a democracy, because in that form of government, the majority would always choke to death the desire for Liberty of a minority. Yet another point that Mrs. Ginsberg might be wise to share with Egypt instead of encouraging them to strive “to achieve a general democracy…”

The dichotomy of her praise and criticism of our founders and our Constitution shows that she is greatly misinformed of both…

Decision 2012, What Does It All Mean?

By Allen Wilson

Good bye Presidential hoopla we’ll see you in August.

But for now, let’s turn our thoughts to more pressing problems for Florida and the nation. Fasten your seat belts folks; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This won’t be a Tea Party vs the Establishment event, that’s just so 2010. No, this is a showcase for Agenders, Fair Taxers, Occupiers (well they don’t really vote do they”), and GOOOH’ers…

Tired Of Political Elitists Picking Our Candidates?

By Rick Steeby

I am not a fan of this two-party system where your personal beliefs have to be compromised to one party platform or the other based on the lesser of two evils.

I am reminded of my own words of how Congress has become entrenched and regardless of party they are more concerned with the power and the prestige of office then in service to their country.

Romney Wins, What’s Next?

By Tom Tillison

So after three years of toil by thousands of average everyday citizens who’ve sacrificed far more than they ever cared to, Florida supports John McCain yet again, just in a prettier package.

And just as in 2008, Florida will be the impetus that thrusts this better wrapped version identified as Mitt Romney one step closer to an eventual match up with Barack Obama.

There will be plenty of coverage breaking down the final numbers…

Clouds On A Sunny Day

By Allen Wilson

I remember the instant that the mood changed.

As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
