Kelly; Maybe Grayson Wants Them To Die

By Tom Tillison
Orlando Political Press

Kurt Kelly, one of seven candidates in congressional district 8 looking to take on Rep. Alan Grayson (D),  was recently interviewed on Fox Business and took the firebrand congressman to task over missing the vote to supply supplemental funding for our troops by saying, ”maybe, he wants them to die”.

Kelly was discussing the $73,000 mailer that Grayson sent out to his district, at taxpayer expense, when he suggested that Grayson should have been more focused on our troops in the field rather that sending out a “puff piece” to potential voters.

It’s curious that Grayson, who touts ‘Peace’ as one of his campaign platforms, would miss this vote.  Is he pandering to his far left base at the expense of our troops?  There’s little debate that our troops deserve better.

RPOF Chairman John Thrasher, a decorated Vietnam veteran, had this to say about Grayson (and Kendrick Meek, who was campaigning) missing this vote;

“Every day soldiers from across the state of Florida fight to defend our freedom and Iraq and Afghanistan. Kendrick Meek and Alan Grayson shouldn’t let politics get in the way of providing essential support for these Floridians who are risking their lives on our behalf. The soldiers, sailors and marines this bill will support can’t miss missions or pick and choose which operations to complete, so why should their representatives in congress pick and choose what bills to vote for and which votes they can just sit out.”

See lose or win- Kurt will be blessed by his Lord and for living a God- honoring life. You on the other hand will go cry in your pillow because Patricia Sullivan will lose. A vote for Sullivan is a vote for Grayson.

It sounds like you are consumed with hate for Kurt- that’s too bad.
3 years in the House of Representatives makes him a career politician and 5 years on the School Board- no way. Kurt is for term limits in Congress- go find out the issues. Now- Webster- of 28 years – that is the definition of a career politician.

I see that there are many Patricia Sullivan folks who are attack artists. It is a shame that you all go running about trying to cut people down. I could shred Patti apart but it would take me days. She is the true arrogant and condesending one in this race. She has attacked the ONLY real patriot in this race – Dan Fanelli- that is disgraceful.
Patti denied Fanelli the opportunity to speak at a Tea Party event, yet took his money for a booth. She took a video produced by Fanelli and placed her own signs in this video- this is so wrong. Thou shalt not steal.

Patti has no intergrity and lacks real character. She is the mud slinger in the group and she will fall flat on her face.
The truth will prevail and the wicked will fail.

Seriously- go get some help. You ahve real issues and learn to cope.

I agree with Vanguard Friend. You need help.

I saw/heard Patricia Sullivan for the first time at the Republican gathering at West Port High School in Ocala a few weeks ago. I listened to all of the other candidates and decided that she is the most impressive of the lot. Afterward, I researched all the candidates and again she stood out. I made sure I told another 30 active Republican voters that I know here in this county to also research all candidates and they too see the obvious with her. It is a simple vote for me next Tuesday. I will vote for Patricia Sullivan because I believe she is the best candidate in this Republican field that can represent the party in the November election against the Democrat and win. It really is that simple.

    -Webster I agree with you.

Where is this hate thing you keep stating? Please read the other email that I posted today because I think it makes what I am attempting to relate on who to vote for easy to understand. I hardly know any of the candidates except Kurt who has served on the school board and represented this area in the legislature so I know him much better than the others. I went to the Republican gathering and I saw him for what I believe he has become…a good ol’ boy career politician type who may now be for term limits until he gets elected and sees the benefits of being a DC no term type…ref: Cliff Stearns who is one that was for term limits, ref: Gingrich’s 10 items…#10 term limits that he signed, at the beginning, got elected, loved the DC life, and now is a career politician who for once has a challenge in his district in Browning who I also will vote for, FYI: Stearns did do 9 of the 10 things in the contract with Gingrich…he should have honor and do #10 now. Do you really think that after getting a whiff of the good life in the legislature that Kelly doesn’t want to become a lifer in DC? You know I will end this with yeah I guess I am angry…angry for the USA and all these politicians who think that when elected, they now believe they are entitled to serve until they die in office or get caught. I am one of many disgusted, I guess call us angry if you like, voters that are tired of this and the first time to vote is August 24th…
I understand that you must have went to VHS with Kurt and he has your loyalty. That is one way to vote and it is okay with me. I differ and think that this country needs a fresh start with people like Patricia Sullivan. Sorry if you think I am being so angry toward Kurt, but he is the one I have known the best over the years. By the way Vanguard…GO VANGUARD KNIGHTS FOOTBALL!

  5. JHawkins says:

Kelly didn’t win and now will join us in the private sector.

Justice Ginsburg Violates Her Oath

By KrisAnne Hall

Our founders deliberately did not establish a democracy, because in that form of government, the majority would always choke to death the desire for Liberty of a minority. Yet another point that Mrs. Ginsberg might be wise to share with Egypt instead of encouraging them to strive “to achieve a general democracy…”

The dichotomy of her praise and criticism of our founders and our Constitution shows that she is greatly misinformed of both…

Decision 2012, What Does It All Mean?

By Allen Wilson

Good bye Presidential hoopla we’ll see you in August.

But for now, let’s turn our thoughts to more pressing problems for Florida and the nation. Fasten your seat belts folks; it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This won’t be a Tea Party vs the Establishment event, that’s just so 2010. No, this is a showcase for Agenders, Fair Taxers, Occupiers (well they don’t really vote do they”), and GOOOH’ers…

Tired Of Political Elitists Picking Our Candidates?

By Rick Steeby

I am not a fan of this two-party system where your personal beliefs have to be compromised to one party platform or the other based on the lesser of two evils.

I am reminded of my own words of how Congress has become entrenched and regardless of party they are more concerned with the power and the prestige of office then in service to their country.

Romney Wins, What’s Next?

By Tom Tillison

So after three years of toil by thousands of average everyday citizens who’ve sacrificed far more than they ever cared to, Florida supports John McCain yet again, just in a prettier package.

And just as in 2008, Florida will be the impetus that thrusts this better wrapped version identified as Mitt Romney one step closer to an eventual match up with Barack Obama.

There will be plenty of coverage breaking down the final numbers…

Clouds On A Sunny Day

By Allen Wilson

I remember the instant that the mood changed.

As my lens focused beyond the Washington Monument and upon the Capital Dome I recognized that I no longer felt proud of this city. I was embarrassed that under that dome sat men and women who first thought of themselves before they thought of their nation.
