As reported last night by WKMG Local 6 reporter Tony Pipitone, yet another seperate link has been established between Alan Grayson’s campaign and the Florida TEA Party political party.

Video of that report can be seen here – http://www.clickorlando.com/video/24036623/index.html

To date, $27,898 is now know to have passed between Grayson’s campaign and individuals associated with the Florida TEA Party.

Pipitone details how TEA Party candidate Raul Rodriquez bought radio ads from radio station WORL, listing himself as treasurer of ‘The Friends to Re-elect Alan Grayson’.  This is the same station that carries Jason Hoyt’s Tea Party Patriots LIVE program, and many suspect this buy was an attempt by Grayson to minimize the attention directed toward his campaign’s ongoing business relationship with Doug Guetzloe’s now defunct radio show.

After yesterday’s debacle where the chairman of the Florida TEA Party, Fred O’Neal, district 8 TEA Candidate Peg Dunmire and Guetzloe all crashed a press conference called by the Central Florida Tea Party Council to demand that Dunmire withdraw her candidacy, it is becoming more and more clear that there are far more questions on just how involved Alan Grayson is with this political party than there are answers forthcoming.

This story is beginning to capture the attention of local media, however, most, if not all, beyond WKMG’s Tony Pipitone, seem to be far more enamored by the supposed ‘conflict’ that exists between the tea party movement and the ‘political party’ than what role Grayson plays in all this.

Of course, much of this controversy is a product of the media itself, as displayed in one report yesterday that spoke of ‘pushing and shoving’ going on between the two entities.  The pushing and shoving occured between the Florida TEA Party group and the media, with those representing the movement standing aside calmly watching.

One reporter went so far as to say that he couldn’t highlight that occurance because it would draw attention to his competitors.

The relevance in all of this is that Grayson seems to be actively involved in trying to split the conservative vote in November, greatly increasing his odds of winning re-election.  In fact, it may be his only chance at winning.  The residents of district 8 should be very concerned about the integrity of that election when a U.S. Congressman appears to be doing everything possible to manipulate the outcome.

So, Alan Grayson is caught with his hand in the cookie jar yet again. Only the so called “news media” should be surprised. In his defense, he couldn’t help it. After all, he is a Socialist Democrat. You remember those guys….. the party of “the ends justifies the means”…..the party of “tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”…..the party of “it’s Bush’s fault”…..the party owned by former Nazi George Soros.

I wonder how those who helped elect him feel about his childish temper tantrums, his vulgar language, and his disgraceful behavior now. Actually, they probably aren’t even aware. His supporters are comprised mostly of people who proudly proclaim that they don’t read newspapers or watch television news. Their only source of information seems to be The Daly Report and that paragon of trurh and unbiased reporting….The Daily KOS

The clock is ticking Al, can you hear it? November keeps getting closer and closer. tick..tick..tick

Whats does the fact that Peg Dunmire continually looks away from the person she is talking to when she is extolling the virtues of Doug Guetzloe. It tells me she is avoiding the questioner because she is lying about her true feelings. Peg got herself into a real mess and can’t find her way out. The head of her party, Fred O’Neil, threatens he will beat he with a stick if she tries to quit and obviously Guetzloe just plain scars her. It’s called lack of character and Peg has an abundance of the lack. Her best move would be to quit and move to Kentucky where her son owns a house. Oh, but wait she can’t because he gave her address in Orlando when he filed to become a Florida Tea Party candidate. Oh boy, this is getting convoluted isn’t it?

  5. I Know Better says:

Where are independent citations, links to copies of this “ad buy,” etc.? Sounds like a whole bunch of smoke and mirrors rubbed down with innuendo and gossip. And from who? Oh, yeah, one of the guys in question at WORL. Yeah, right. Real objective.

So far this Como character at WEUS has told so many different stories about the Guetzloe canning that I’m begging to think there’s something that needs to be investigated about this guy, especially when it comes to his lawyer, of Orlando “No Name Club” fame….http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/news_politics/2010/04/orange-comm-fernandez-wants-no-name-club-organizer-to-brief-leaders-on-men-only-parties-fixes-for-loopholes-in-lobbying-rules.html

  6. TomT says:

For the record, I have an original source digital copy of the ad buy documentation…

  7. Alistair says:

O.K., I know this is a serious story, but that red carpet picture just begs for a “Caption This” contest. When I saw it I shouted, “Somebody hi five me – please, somebody, anybody, hi five me.”

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

By Kim Carroll

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

The Interest Bomb Is Ticking

By: George Noga

This post kicks off a three-part series about the crisis of spending, debt and deficits.

The next part deals with the interval between now and the inevitable arrival of the Minsky Moment, i.e. the unknown and unknowable time when an unsustainable economic phenomenon suddenly collapses.

The third post will address Gotterdammerung, or what happens after the Minsky Moment.

Is Mack Campaign Getting Desperate?

By Tom Tillison

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.

As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

By L. Persona

Florida Democrats believe they can win a few Republican seats in Congress and are preparing a major offensive against several Republicans facing tough challenges this year. They believe that redistricting gives them a chance to offset the seats they are sure to give up.

However, the Democrats still fail to realize the albatross that ObamaCare places on their party’s efforts…

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
