Patricia Sullivan Endorsed for Congress by Notorious Defender of our Constitution, Sheriff Richard Mack (ret.) of Arizona

Eustis, Florida – Retired Sheriff Richard Mack of Graham County Arizona defender of liberty, freedom, and our Constitution, endorses Patricia Sullivan for Congress in Florida’s 8th District.  Sheriff Mack has personally fought against an intrusive federal government, defeating the Brady Bill and the Clinton Administration in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Sheriff Mack stated, “I am honored to have this opportunity to endorse a great American Patriot, Patricia Sullivan, the People’s Congressional Candidate in Florida’s 8th District.  Patricia is just the New Breed of Representative America needs in Congress leading this Constitutional Renaissance.  Patricia is the Candidate who will represent you and not the special interest groups; she will listen to you and stand up for you, ‘the People’ of the 8th District, without compromising you or her Integrity.  I urge you all to stand with Patricia and support her campaign so that she may stand for you in Washington”.

“Andrew Jackson said ‘One man with courage makes a majority.’  When no one else stood their ground to protect the people from an overbearing Federal Government, Sheriff Mack did.  Then others followed.  In this landmark case against the Clinton administration and the Brady Bill mandates, the Supreme Court decided ‘The Federal Government may not compel the States to enact or administer a federal regulatory program.’  We need leaders in our States willing to stand up for the people, keep their oath to the Constitution, and push back a growing Federal Government.  We also need leaders in Congress who will recognize State Sovereignty and be willing to work within the boundaries of the enumerated powers granted by the Constitution.  I’m honored Sheriff Mack recognizes me as such a leader” replied Patricia.

  1. Patriotforus says:

I’m sorry to read this endorsement. Todd Long is the true defender of liberty and freedom! Pat Sullivan seems like a nice person, but Todd Long is the leader of the Tea Party Movement in FL Dist. 8.

  2. Richard Riker says:

Patriot4us , You have to be kidding, if Todd was a leader of the tea party movement(by the way they shouldn’t be capitalized) we wouldn’t have a movement. It would be just as popular as his ridiculous book which he is hawking on, in all places EBAY and Amazon. I even hear he had to take a bus load of them to give out in Arizona to try to get rid of them, how many 8th district voters are out in Arizona?. While he was home last year licking his wounds from the 2008 race, conservative Republican Patricia Sullivan was Co-founding the North Lake Tea Party and standing up to local and state politicians to achieve outcomes on issues that would help the people. Saying Todd is the leader of the tea party movement is like saying Alan Grayson has nothing to do with the Florida Tea Party political party or Doug Guetzloe and we know Grayson is knee deep in that organization. Patriot4us,if you don’t have anything worthwhile to say go stuff some books.

  3. Alistair says:

How do you distinquish between leaders and participants? A leader inspires people to move forward, creates energy, and makes things happen. A participant supports the ideal and ideas, echos the movement’s mission, and shows their support in ways sometimes noteworthy. The leader gives voice to the crowd, the participant is a voice in the crowd. Those that are inspired by the leader show their gratitude in many ways but mostly by lifting up the movement, not the leader and by holding up the leader as an example of selfless expression. The paticipant can be a force for achievement but may also cause those around them to climb upon others’ shoulders to reach the next rung.

As Arizona’s immigration battle moves into the courts the message from sheriff Mack stands through example that the rights of the states and the rights of the people need not be ceded to the federal government. As a man who has been there and done, has fought for our rights and has won he carries the weight of experience in his words. As a champion of The Constitution he has earned the right to speak his mind and be heard. Certainly he is a man who has earned respect through his deeds and has the eye and the heart to recognize a patriot.

Be glad that we have such a leader as Patricia Sullivan. Her leadership does not diminish others contributions. It does not deny recognition of value. It gives us all hope, strength, and the will to meet the issues of the present and the challenges of the future. Most of all I believe that Mrs. Sullivan recognizes we must all be true defenders of liberty and freedom if those things are to be the legacy we leave our children. In her actions she demonstrates the will to inspire others ensuring those traits are not the sole possession of a champion but the bounty of the nation.

  4. Mickey Spencer says:

Patriotforus, I don’t doubt Todd’s conservative credentials. Nor do I doubt his ability to shamelessly promote his book. Nor do I doubt Todd’s ability to respond to questions by quoting his notable self instead of exhibiting his ability to think on his feet and speak from his heart and mind. Nor do I doubt Todd’s need to somehow get rid of all those thousands of copies of his book that his campaign apparently paid for (to drive up his sales numbers). Nor do I doubt that his wife probably wants those books out of their garage so they can get back to putting their cars in there again… LOL!

Todd has some serious skeletons in his closet that were barely used to defeat him in the 2008 primary. I say barely because Alan Grayson will use that same information (and more) orders of magnitude larger in order to destroy Todd if Todd becomes the Republican nominee. While I believe Todd’s heart is in the right place and he genuinely believes in conservative values, Todd has some issues with numerous unwise choices he has made and still makes that are not what we need in our leaders.

Incidentally, you mention that Todd is the leader of the Tea Party movement. Exactly how many Tea Party movement groups has he started? Hmmm… that’s what I thought. Patricia Sullivan co-founded the North Lake Tea Party movement. That to me looks like a score of 1-0. If you see it differently, then perhaps you might qualify as one of the World Cup referees because they’re exhibiting that they also have difficulty making judgement calls.

  5. George F says:

Back up and read Alistair’s comment again and contemplate those words. I could not have said it better.

  6. TerriD says:

Thank you ALISTAIR and MICKEY SPENCER for your excellent comments – I could not agree more, or say it as well. Patricia Sullivan is a leader and a motivator. She will serve us well in Congress.

  7. Wes Locke says:

Alistar has posted one of the most eloquent arguments for Patricia Sullivan I have seen on a article about the District 8 race! Well said!
All our true leaders were selfless. Think about the true leaders of our nation. Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Lincoln, Reagan – all led because they believed in an ideal of freedom. Patricia has that same ideal and the same selfless attitude.

  8. ChrisFromEustis says:

    Agreed…Alistair put it eloquently!
I’m with the hundreds upon hundreds of citizens in
Patricia Sullivan’s Patriot army who’ve gotten to know her
personally through her long-term positive involvement in
our community. We know that she’s the best choice for Congress in FL District 8. Patricia was a co-founder of the North Lake Tea Party movement; with her strong core conservative principles, she is running on the Republican ticket. People with true tea party movement values do not want to split votes giving the other candidate a chance to win.
One of the things that impressed me the most when I first met Patricia at a home cottage meeting last year was her integrity and her heart-felt patriotism; she is the real deal…no hidden agendas there! She knows and understands our
Constitution, our nation’s true history, and our Founding
Fathers’ backgrounds well. Patricia Sullivan works
side-by-side with and for the people. She believes that we
should be educated citizens and that we should learn about
and support the candidates we believe will truly represent
our needs and work towards our goals. If you
haven’t done so yet, check Patricia Sullilvan out at
    http://www.PatriciaSullivanForCongress.com
I invite you to join our Patriot army if you like what you
learn. God bless America, and God bless Patricia Sullivan!

  9. sray says:

We definitely need new faces in our state and country this fall, especially District 8. Those faces need to be attached to people of moral integrity, common sense, knowledge of out Constitution, and have ears for hearing the people of their districts. The person I have in mind is Patricia Sullivan for Florida’s District 8 Congress seat. The fact that she is a “real” person, not the “machine” of politics, makes her top on my list. We need to restore our nation, get back to the basics, and Patricia Sullivan is the CongressMom to do just that. I have heard her speak, I have spoken with her eye to eye, and I see the heartfelt concern in her eyes and I have heard her heart. She is running a true grassroots campaign, and has a Patriot Army behind her and we will definitely help her in restoring our our district, our state and our nation. We can no longer sit back and be silent observers. We’re running out of time to get informed, get involved and get registered to vote….if you haven’t registered yet, you only have till July 26th to be able to vote for Patricia Sullivan in the August primary. Go register, then go vote for Patricia Sullivan and help her help us return to the vision and values of our Founding Fathers. She is a true conservative Republican (not Tea Party party) who is well-versed on the Constitution and is a real person like you and me.

  10. Proud Veteran says:

It was great getting to meet Sheriff Mack when he visited Lake County. His endorsement for Patricia Sullivan comes after his spending time with Sullivan and her family. He saw that Sullivan is fighting for her children’s future and the future of America. Also, he saw the integrity and moral values the Sullivan family exhibits. He is a Patiot endorsing another Patriot. Thank you, Sheriff Mack. I wish we had more sheriffs like you across America. Support Sullivan by adding to her chain…links to bind down the government when she goes to Wahington to represent FL District 8.. http://www.patriciasulllivanforcongress.com

  11. gailmarie says:

My Candidate Recommendation would be Patricia Sullivan for the 8th Congressional District. I too highly recommend Patricia Sullivan as she is one of good character. She stands for what Americans want to see in their elected representatives. She will take our voice to be heard. She is the antithesis of Alan Grayson. Her core principles are fiscal responsibility, limited government; free markets and strong National Defense just to name a few. She is a strong leader with common sense values and will take on the issues and not waiver. Most important, she has the integrity that is so lacking in our government today. As our founding fathers respected life, liberties, and property and sacrificed so much for them, Patricia will stand up for and restore those God given unalienable rights. And everything Sheriff Mack said about her is true…

I could go on… and will if you ask, but you may want to check her out further at Patriciasullivanforcongress.com

  12. robin says:

Patricia is very lucky to have such family & friends who support her “venture” into politics. While we need new blood in Congress, we do NOT need someone who will have such a learning curve on the job. This country needs someone with REAL experience & credentials without being a politician. Bottom line is Grayson will eat her alive……..

War On Women Can Be Fought At The Polls

By Kim Carroll

Women have the power. They take their right to vote seriously and show up at the polls in greater numbers than men according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.

In 2008, 60.4 percent of eligible female voters cast their vote versus 55.7% of eligible males. According to the same study, more women are registered to vote than men, 66.6 million versus 63.5 million. Maybe that’s why the “War on Women” has taken a front seat in this election…

Is Mack Campaign Getting Desperate?

By Tom Tillison

It’s a fair guess that Connie Mack has seen some recent polling that has gotten his attention.

As the week closed out, the rhetoric coming from the Mack campaign took on a rather fervent pitch. In a press release sent out Thursday, it made the claim that opponent George LeMieux has “endorsed raising Florida’s sales tax to a nation-leading 16 percent.”

Obama’s IPAB Death Panels Limit More Than Just Health Care Access

By L. Persona

Florida Democrats believe they can win a few Republican seats in Congress and are preparing a major offensive against several Republicans facing tough challenges this year. They believe that redistricting gives them a chance to offset the seats they are sure to give up.

However, the Democrats still fail to realize the albatross that ObamaCare places on their party’s efforts…

A Black Guy At The Dallas, TX Tea Party Rally

By Lloyd Marcus

A big well dressed black guy attended the Dallas, TX tea party rally with his white buddy. Both men missed my singing performance on stage minutes earlier.

I asked the black gentleman who had an impressive physique how often he worked out. He replied, “Everyday.” His white buddy said with a chuckle, “He thinks the Tea Party is racist.”
